No matter your best efforts, sometimes teeth are damaged through injury or general decay. If you happen to be in this situation, we’ll do our very best to see you quickly and restore the appearance and health of your smile.
Dental crowns look just like natural teeth and are shaped to match your existing teeth. They are fitted over the top of your existing teeth and prevent future problems, improving the function of your teeth and looking realistic at the same time.
Treatment will often involve coming into Norton Dental Practice for two appointments. Your first visit will be to look at your teeth and remove any decay, we’ll then reshape any of your damaged teeth to prepare them for your new crown. We’ll also take an impression of your teeth so that our technician can build you a perfectly sized crown.
Whilst you wait between appointments, we’ll also fit a temporary crown, so that you’re not left with a gap, until your final crown is ready to be fitted.
